Anchor Blue
Anchor Blue, (previously Millers Outpost) teamed up with David&Goliath in summer ’07. The goal was to help them define and communicate their eclectic style and personality in the highly competitive retail marketplace of guys and girls fashion.
We needed to express that Anchor Blue carries a diverse range of styles including surf, skate, urban, etc. So we decided to base the campaign on one of the world’s most diverse cities, Los Angeles. This worked well with Anchor Blue’s Southern California heritage and gave us a huge canvas to work from. Los Angeles is also a pretty crazy place, so we took the idea of L.A, and came up with ”Welcome to La La Land.”
Print ads, outdoor, catalog, in-store signage, website, shopping bags, radio, and a pop-up store in the 3rd st. Promenade (Sta. Monica, CA) were developed for them.
